Reports have it that the duo charge around $75000 for a performance, this is about 15million worth of naira. This was never the case, sources say the duo were worth 2 million naira per show but  however, as their popularity grew, they were able to raise those fees. Brief history

Known for her fierce name “Wonder Woman”, Omawumi has climbed the pecking order in Nigerian music. In a few years, she has appeared in five movies, singing and performing around the globe . Omawumi has a diploma in Law from Ambrose Alli University in 2005. According to the singer, music was never her intended path but destiny found her, she made her first stage appearance in the West African Idols.

Wonder woman released her first studio album in 2009, followed by strings of chart topping singles. Besides are music career, Omawumi takes an active social stand working with various organizations, including an anti cyber-crime organization. She is also one of the brand ambassadors of Globacom, a contract that worth 25 million naira.

Wonder woman won album of the year including other prestigious awards for the best R&B and best music video. These awards came from Hip Hop World Awards 2006.



Omawumi won the Next Rated Artist award.

Omawumi was invited to New York to receive the award for Best rnb and Pop Artist from Nigerian Entertainment Awards. In the same year, she was celebrated as the Outstanding recording Artist in London by the Vivacity PR.
