Best Airports in Nigeria 2016: We focused our review light on the Best and worst Airports In Nigeria 2016 . There are currently 26 airports operated by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) but funny enough only five of these airports meets up with international standard and allowed to travel across Nigeria border to other counties .

Over the years, some Nigerian airlines had suffered several plane crash which marred the reputation of Nigerian airlines in general . Over the years , Nigerian airlines have done a lot of noticeable upgrades to their airlines and airport facilities which makes many aircraft lovers want to travel with them . Left for many Nigerians , they would rather prefer to travel with buses through land because they think most Nigerian aircraft are too old to still be in use .At this juncture , we would like to introduce the Best airports we have in Nigeria.

1.  Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos 

Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) is the largest airport in Nigeria .
MMIA was built in the year 1979 .MMIA has two runways at the airport and one is 3,900 metres and the other is 2,743 metres .

 2. Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport(MAKIA) 

This airport started off  has a local airport , it was later honoured with a new status of international airport in the year 1950 . Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport is said to be the oldest Nigerian airport and it is still relevant till date .

 3. Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA) 

Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport is one of the best Nigerian airport that is still at the apex in Nigeria . The airport was named after Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe . The high point of this airport is that it has always been the busiest airport in Nigeria but below Murtala Muhammed International Airport which is unarguably the biggest and busiest in Nigeria.
